Women

Women's Ministries at GracePoint play a significant role in helping women of all ages connect with other women where they can share their needs, develop long-lasting friendships and grow in the walk with Christ. It is our hope that each woman who attends GracePoint becomes a mature woman who mirrors the image of God as she learns to integrate Biblical truth in all aspects of life.

There are many opportunities for women to grow in Christ and connect with other women. We have great Bible studies, fun events and outreach opportunities throughout the year. Please take a look at the menu of choices and join us! For more information about ministries to women, please contact Kathy at .

Women Mentoring Ministry

Sign ups for Mentoring and Mentees are currently taking place until September 16, 2019.  On Sunday, September 16 @ 1 pm we will have a training that all must attend. (Room 132)
Friendship, Support, Encouragement, Accountability – These are needs that all women have as we journey along the life of faith. God has designed us to live out our faith in community with one another. We each must run our own race, but at the same time, we run together, helping each other not just endure, but grow and thrive. Based on the truths of Titus 2, the mentoring ministry seeks to help in that process. Women encourage and support each other to live out and adorn the gospel of Christ with their lives. In the process, families are strengthened, the church is blessed and Christ’s kingdom is advanced! Mentor training is provided periodically. If you are interested in being paired with someone, contact Barb Williams 319-269-4457 or Susan Schmiedt 327-7729.

Women's Missionary Fellowship

Women's Missionary Fellowship (WMF) welcomes women of ages to join them in supporting the mission ministries of the North American Baptist Conference. WMF holds "circle meetings" throughout the year where women are challenged from God's Word and pray for our missionaries and the difficult work they are doing in countries that are not completely receptive to the Gospel. Special missionary guest speakers on home assignement come and share their personal experiences along with the needs of the mission field they are serving.

WMF also provides an imporant service by fulfilling a quota of "White Cross" supplies such as bandages, blankets and other medical supplies that are eventually shipped to Cameroon to replenish supplies at our Baptist hospitals there. If wish to have more information about his ministry, please contact Barbara Kelly-Kettner at (209) 369-1600.
