Joy Under Pressure

Joy Under Pressure

April 28, 2019 | Perry Kallis

7Up, the soda, was first invented in 1929, the same year the stock market “bubble burst”. Charles Grigg was asked many times where he got the name, but he never gave a clear explanation. What we know, however, is that one of the noteworthy ingredients was carbon dioxide gas which gives all the other ingredients “fizz”. High pressure can sometimes bring out the best. But what about in our walk with Christ? Can the “fizz of challenges” ever be beneficial in having us experience Christian joy?  YES! Paul wrote an entire letter to the Philippian church to explain how we can have “Joy Under Pressure." I’m calling this new series “Joy Up” (Joy Under Pressure). Join us to discover how this can be true for you.
