Am I Wise -or- Otherwise?

October 03, 2021 | Perry Kallis

Passage: James 1:5-12

There is a vast difference between “knowledge” and “wisdom.” Knowledge has to do with facts, like being able to explain the scientific principle of the wheel, whereas wisdom is the application, like being able to change a car tire. Seeking knowledge might mean going to Google, but seeking true wisdom always requires going to GOD from whom all true wisdom comes! The Bible talks about wisdom over 300 times, always connecting the ability to be and act wisely with seeking God’s wisdom first. James indicates that seeking God for wisdom is not only advisable for navigating the challenges of life, it is required. Join us as the wisdom of the book of James helps us understand how to live as wise followers of Christ.
