Epilogue of Justice and Grace

Epilogue of Justice and Grace

November 17, 2019 | Perry Kallis

Most of us learned that there are 5 basic elements to any good story: The characters, the setting, the plot, the conflict, and the final resolution. The book of Esther has clearly defined each of these elements. God’s sovereignty is the main character during the setting in history in which Persia ruled the world. The plot was based on the events surrounding God’s plan to use a simple Jewish girl to become the Queen of Persia who intervened during the conflict as enemies of the Jewish people were threatened with annihilation.  We now come to an epilogue that not only resolves the problems but promises hope and perspective on God’s ongoing providence and plans for our own lives. Join us as we conclude the story of Esther and see its application for today.
