God's Captivatingly Fascinating Forgiveness

September 27, 2020 | Perry Kallis

Passage: Ephesians 1:7-10

I've now seen tens of thousands of them in my lifetime, and still, I never get over being fascinated by sunrises or sunsets. There is something captivatingly wonderful about watching a day begin or end. Each one is so predictable, yet unique! That is an earthly illustration of God's incredible forgiveness and redemption of our eternal souls. The Apostle Paul is so captivatingly fascinated by this miracle of grace and it's predictably unique effect on us, that he uses one of the Bible's longest run-on sentences to describe it. We will likewise use this passage from his Ephesian letter to review and respond to God's captivatingly fascinating forgiveness in our lives.
