Is God My “One and Only”?

February 13, 2022 | Perry Kallis

Passage: James 4:4-10

In at least one survey, when people were asked about the best example of faithfulness, the number one answer was. ”my dog”. That is both sad and amusing at the same time. One might have expected the top answer to be my spouse. Has faithfulness among people become so rare that we have to point to our pets as examples? But, it is also a valid concern for a believer’s connection with God. James uses some very direct language to explain the importance of making sure that God is our “one and only” God and that we reflect that reality in our daily walk. Join us as we examine the practical truths that the book of James declares regarding our faithfulness to God.
