Passage: James 1:19-27
There are many ways to use a mirror. Home decorators have dozens of ideas for using mirrors to enhance space or light. Science uses concave and convex mirrors in telescopes and experiments. Mirrors are even essential in safely driving our cars. But the most practical and common use of mirrors is to look at ourselves and make adjustments to our appearance. The book of James used this exact point to illustrate the importance of “looking into the truth of God’s Word” and making obedient changes. This principle is incredibly important in an age of high information but low wisdom. Join us for a look into God’s mirror to see the principles of right responses to what we see about ourselves in the Bible.
