The Romance of a Marriage Mission

May 16, 2021 | Perry Kallis

Passage: Ephesians 5:25-33

At the end of Ephesians 5, the Apostle Paul illustrates how to live out God’s purposes in the most practical ways, beginning with…. marriage. This most foundational of all human relationships should be marked with a commitment to God, love, and submission. Godly marriage has been compared to the mission of a couple climbing a mountain. They desperately need one another to safely ascend. But in the process, they are not only accomplishing a trip, they are bonding into a loving unit. This bonding happens because of the shared effort, the panoramic beauty, but also the dangerous challenges. Join us as we consider the truth of marriage on God’s mission.
