The Unexpected Journey to God’s Purposes

The Unexpected Journey to God’s Purposes

September 29, 2019 | Perry Kallis

Lodi, California is a one of those significantly central places. It still amazes me how we can close the car door to the smell of my mowed lawn in Lodi, and two hours of driving later, we can open the car door to the smell of pines in Tahoe or the ocean air in Santa Cruz. God takes us on journeys in life that end quite different from where we expected to arrive. The book of Esther unpacks the principle that: “what seems to make little sense on earth” is still part of how God accomplishes His purposes. Chapter 2 will take us from “a haram to a hangin’”, and still God will be in charge of moving His plan forward.
