It's a Matter of the Heart

This week’s sermon passage is Mark 7:1-23 where we will see Jesus confront Pharisees and Scribes on two major problems with their religious practices: reliance on oral tradition over and above the Word of God and trying to obtain personal purity and holiness through ritualistic practices. We’ll see that righteousness doesn’t come through religious observances but rather through a radical change of heart by the grace of God through the gospel.
