A Guide to The Light

As we continue looking toward the advent of Jesus Christ this coming season, this week we will be looking at the person who would guide people to the light of our Savior: John the Baptist. Before Christ came into the world, the Lord foretold of a person who would cry out in the wilderness to make straight a pathway for Him to walk upon. Everything about John's life, including his birth, would offer itself to be a sign that pointed others to where they would find salvation and peace with the God who keeps His promises.
